R&D ACTIVITIES -
Cubic’s R&D facility “ Cubic Wastewater Clinic” situated in Taloja MIDC Navi Mumbai.
Our wastewater clinic facility is specifically built based on the industries latest and consistently evolving needs and regulation-based requirement. It includes Lab scale pilot plants and a dedicated in-house laboratory equipped with all the sampling equipment necessary to test water and wastewater. Our R&D centre continually tests range of streams and loads providing information to all sorts of industries.
Cubic is currently conducting several research activities for Pharma, Chemical, Textiles & other industries:
- Investigating various trials on commonly used solvents in chemical & pharmaceutical industries to establish maximum removal of COD through biological (aerobic, anaerobic.), Advanced oxidation, Activated carbon and few other methods. Our aim is to create library on removal efficiencies of all the compounds which are tough to treat.
- Compound recovery through resins, evaporation and liquid-liquid extraction methods.
- Investigating various trials report on the combination of the inorganic constituents which are not considered to be controlled at source to perform RO membranes on highest efficiency.
- Establishment of possible presence of solvents and their removal from the ambient air through scrubbing, activated carbon filters and other techniques.
- Investigating various trials on the combination of dye bath effluents to establish recycle possibility.
- Investigation and data generation for chemical management system for textile industries. Evaluating maximum removal of chemicals like Dyes, solubilizing, binding, wetting, dispersing, levelling whitening, optical brightening, sequestering agents from primary and biological treatments.
Adequacy Assessments-
Cubic also consults for Effluent Treatment Plant adequacy studies. We have more than 50 clients to whom we have consulted for ETP adequacy. Cubic has an expertise in this field, not only we can carry out the adequacy assessment, we can also provide you further support to take corrective steps. The nature of the industries served so far is chemical, pharmaceuticals, textile, dairy and others.
